Anyone ever notice how there are four races of Humans in this game, yet not one of them has managed to develop cloaking technology?

For that matter, two of them come explicitly from Earth (well, it's been a while since I saw BSG, but I'm PRETTY sure that the Colonies came from Earth and/or one of their original ships was from Earth...)

Wtb Humans with cloaks. :) Though I SUPPOSE some of the Orions might have been Humans...

Well Feds as in Star Trek Federation agreed to not have cloaking devices... and in VGAP3 a bit of flavour text mentions the Feds have all white ships and flaunt being visible. So that is 1 of 4 down.

Colonials from Battlestar Galactica original series I'm not really aware of cloaking ships and couldn't find anything with a handful of minutes searching.

First Star Wars movie mentioned cloaking but my curiosity was piqued by your post... so I went and found a video all about cloaking devices in Star Wars; https://youtu.be/Hdco4Ct_BnQ

People have suggested a cloaking ship for Rebels and EE before, it's consistent with the inspiration lore, so not a bad idea for an Emperor ship.

I actually suggested that very thing in a post a few days ago - I suggested a Mig variant.

I should note that much of the cloaking stuff is in Star Wars is Legends...non-canon, but potentially pulled from when they need new ideas (some Legends stuff is semi-canon, like the Knights of the Old Republic game being the inspiration for the Hammerhead corvettes in Star Wars: Rebels and Rogue One isn't EXPLICITLY cannon, but the corvettes are said to be "inspired by an ancient ship design", which kind of makes it semi-canon that they existed.)

I believe the rumors of the Emperor's personal shuttle having a cloak is also Legends (hence: Mig variant).

There is a canon cloaking device, an experimental cloaking ship from Clone Wars, the CGI series (which is canon, as is Rebels)...hm, just read this page:

https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Cloaking_device

...apparently, there's more canon sources for cloaking devices now. From the comics (which I haven't read) and the books (only some of which I've read), Darth Maul's ship had a cloaking device, and Tarkin used a corvette using a derivation of the cloaking tech on the Clone Wars era Stealth Ship...

Basically, it's an uncommon/specialized tech. But then, so are hyperdriving Millennium Falcons and Slave 1s, so...
