Does anyone know if the Sapphire requires fuel to bestow...

Does anyone know if the Sapphire requires fuel to bestow webmine immunity? Also, can it be towed through the webs and still offer immunity? Thanks in advance.

From in-game experience I can confirm that towing through webs definitely offers immunity. Can't recall if I ever did it with a fuel-less Sapphire though. I would imagine it works fine, as web-immunity is not a mission.

Loki decloak also isn't a mission and nevertheless needs fuel. I don't know by own experience but I doubt that a fuelless Sapphire grants web immunity. This would make the Sapphire immun to combat which would be too strong in my opinion.

A few other hull functions require fuel as well even though they are not missions. The gambling function of the Lady Royale requires fuel to function

Agreed, gentlemen. However, there are hull functions that do work fine without fuel. "trg" and radiation shielding come to mind.

If you get to try it out in a game Tpaz, we'd appreciate if you post the results and let us know.
