error with the PP cost?

Is there a cap at 21 PP for priority builds?

I should be paying 41 PP for stargates but "A new Dungeon Class Stargate has been constructed at Delta Pegasi ID#318 space dock. (21 production points used)"

I can confirm that the total points gained and used this turn equates to a 21 PP cost rather than the 41 PP cost it should be.

This is by design, though I suppose it could be changed for Production Queue games. But having ships with PBP costs over 20 creates some issues with the classic queue.

Thx, BB. I assume there's no extra rule for destroying a Stargate, so you get 20 PP for it.
I don't see a problem with this. Only important thing is that building something costs more PP than it's desctruction yields.

Then the bug is that the starbase says that it will cost 41 pp to build.

Since i have your ear BB, is the current method of moving stargates a bug or the correct version? If it is correct then i'll let the keepers of the documentation know to correct their text.

i.e. a stargate can chunnel itself to any chunnel target.

I should add that that is the only way i've found to move a stargate. The 4 fireclouds chunnelling to 4 fireclouds does nothing except move the 4 fireclouds and all other ships except the stargate.

I suspect this secretive editing has been going on for a long time... I really should have known this was going on since Whisperer has proven himself to have no scruples.

In anycase, next time he lectures someone for fixing a typo and not stating so, I can bring up this example of him posting from the wrong account and trying to cover his tracks.

The client-side fix for this was released today.

The mass-based cost for a build is limited to 20 for both Classic and Priority queues. The Priority queue adds the per-build cost (default of 1) to this.
