Anyone able to link to vgapcalc or a mirror site? Its been down the last two days. I was hoping it would be like the periodic outages of Donavans and be back by now.

You may still be able to get to it using the Web Archive (waybackmachine) like: http://web.archive.org/web/20130329033149/http://www.vgaplanets.ca/vgapcalc.php since the page hasn't changed for years?

Hi,

The wayback pages link to the page but don't update the calculations. It seems the pages are static. It is still good for the climate

@czb Where do you download it? I googled but don't see a download link or get dead links there as well.

Donovans usually only goes down for a few days. I hope the calculator page is still active somewhere

I was referring to downloading the webpage, right click download. Like you said the calculations don't work, but the population chart is what I was after.
It may be somewhat unethical to make ones own backups of online reference material, since the author doesn't get the opportunity to be reimbursed through advertising.

Ah, right, I also usually go to the page for the growth chart. The Java portions of the page I guess require some server support to run the calculations?

The owner of the calculator site is a player here in the NU community (James T. Plagerism), perhaps you can try pleading with him in a private message :-)

The link works great. (http://vgap.net/calculatorX.html) Its a different look to the population charts but works just fine. Also, unlike the cached pages or wayback, the calculator works just fine too
