How does turn roll-over work? If everybody ticks in it rolls over early, but what is the new deadline?

Specifically, does the deadline forward if you're submitting before the turn previously would have rolled over? For example, if turns are every 24 hours and everybody is green >48 hours before the next turn, does the deadline change?

Turns aren't actually "every 24 hours" in your example. They're once a day at a given time. So if your host runs early one turn because everyone has marked their turns "ready" early, the next host run will still be that next scheduled time, not 24 hours after host runs.

Sure, and then if everybody instantly goes ready and the host runs again 2 minutes later? That's what I'm asking.

Say it's Mon-Wed-Fri turns.
Turn runs Monday, the due date is Wed. Everybody is done by Monday night, the turn runs. It is now due Friday.

But say everybody finishes on Tuesday and it runs again before the normal Wed run time. The next due date will still be Friday.

That's Garth. That confirms my suspicion. Useful to know.

What Garth is saying matches my experience, however, there's a limit to how far in advance a turn will be scheduled. At some point it falls back to a closer "scheduled day/time" or something--I'm not entirely how it works, but I know you can't just build an inordinately large buffer.

That said, it is very useful to have at least a few day buffer in case RL interferes with a player's ability to take their turn for a few days.

Maximum time you can 'bank' is about four days I believe... had a MvsM that ended up running eary over and over due to their just being the two of us.
