If you are a replacement player in one game and you have played at least 1 turn, are you penalized in anyway in your tenacity score if you resign?

I'm asking because I see a lot of people missing 3 turns and be dropped instead of resigning.

it has a minor penalty, though most will tell you it does not, dropping is MUCH worse.

1. Only regular games (public, non-Melee games) count in your basic tenacity.

2. Missing turns in any game does count towards your Turns modifier.

3. Also, you never lose any basic tenacity as a replacement player.

Yes; it's not a "penalty" so much as it is a "removed reward". It will likely count as one of your last ten games when calculating the replacement bonus.
