Build fighters mission does not automatically load the materials to build the fighters. To do that, you need to use the "LFM" friendly code. Alternatively, you can load the materials yourself (3 tritanium, 2 molybdenum, 5 megacredits per fighter). You can use the +Fighter button at the bottom of the transfer screen to load things in the correct ratios quickly.

No matter which method you use, your main ship screen should display the expected number of fighters to be built if everything is set correctly, so that's a good way to verify.

@big+beefer

Any chance these exceptions of rules in various Beginner rule sets are clearly and explicitly written somewhere players playing these games can easily access?

You have probably seen these types of questions appearing pretty often in the public feed these days. It is also pretty hard to answer these questions as we more experienced do not know the exact answers either.

thanks beefer for the answer, but the add fighters in the transfer is not working. i think after reading more this is because there are no supplies, right?

Correct, In a beginners game, your ships already have maximum fighters on board. On your torp ships, they have maximum torps.
In beginner games, LFM should be disabled, as should any other command that are not used. We are hoping that the admins will correct this as soon as possible. :)

Mykus, at least your last statement is incorrect. in my beginners game there are 0 fighters and 0 torps on newly built ships. i can veryfy this by buying torps or fighters after the ship is built.

example Gemini screen after it was newly built:
Damage: 0%
Crew: 326/326
Fighters: 0

Because there is a Beginner and Intermediate level setting to the games.

The training levels change at some point.

So the statement is correct for Beginner.

The confusion is which set of rules is running. Which confuses the hell out of everyone as no one knows which one is active unless you know exactly what the game is and can interpret the settings.

So the question could be for a normal game, Begginer, Intermediate or a custom game which may have any setting.

@Codo+der+dritte, I so far cannot reproduce this issue. When I click the +fighters button at the bottom, then use the transfer arrows above, it is moving the materials needed, whether they are supplies or megacredits. If possible, can you send any more details about it to the contact link, or maybe a screenshot of what you are doing to admin@planets.nu?
