It appears that I managed to tow another ship inside a warp...

It appears that I managed to tow another ship inside a warp well without having any fuel on the tower.
Did others also make such an experience?

Is there a chance that the list of possible actions on the out of fuel page is incomplete?

Not only is it possible that something is missing, it's likely. We haven't been digging into that page very long.

If you could describe, either in this thread or in a PM, what you did (I assume this is an active game), it would help.

Also, since this probably happened recently, recording the sector/turn/ship information might be useful after the game finishes, and it's much easier to get that information now than later.

I will try to see if I can repeat this and then we know more.
In the particular event there is a chance that an enemy ship transferred fuel to my fuelless ship with the intention of attacking it (Not sure if my enemy @Tomprime wants to deny or confirm this) and then I was able to tow another ship because I had the 1kt of fuel from my enemy.
I certainly received a message from the tower saying "We don't have enough fuel to tow..."
However, even if I cannot tow another ship without fuel, can I then move in the host order under towing ships move, effectively giving me a chance to escape a tow with a lower ID tow without actually towing?
(This is getting complex - exactly what I love about planets)

@Strangelove007: Without fuel, I wasn't able to tow anything, even if the fuel use total was zero.

As for a lower ID# ship towing without fuel to move before another higher ID# ship (with fuel) can tow it... nope, doesn't work.

Tow mission must be getting reset sometime AFTER foreign cargo transfer, which hints Tomprime did in fact transfer you fuel in an attempt to fight your ship.

Tow Capture also doesn't function without fuel FYI.

Well, that is part of my problem.
Before I killed the Robot player @Tuikhu, he transferred his fleet to @Tomprime the Klingon (check out the impressive military score shift in turn 45: http://planets.nu/#/sector/169773/military ), apparently in exchange for the promise that Tomprime carries on the fight for the dead Robots. And now he stands up to that promise.
