Just wanted to make a suggestion for a minor functional enhancement.

When writing in game messages - why not utilise a pop-up window?

This way the player could write a message and navigate starmap / complete turn concurrently?

For phones, use voice-to-text and the MessagEase keyboard for messages.

I write my notes in a notebook window as I am doing my turns and then cut-paste them into NU message when I am ready. Works about the same as a popup would.

Mule raises a good point, I forget going to Diplomacy or Scoreboard erases any messages you were in process of writing, just having a text file open would have served me much better in the past.

Yes I use Notepad too - it works but would be nice if it was integrated.

You could cater for different devices - say through an interface option that can enable/disable the pop-up window.
