Not understanding some of the production settings in my game.

Mineral Bash III
shiplimit: 600
productionqueue: true
productionbasecost: 1
productionstarbaseoutput: 2
productionstarbasereward: 2

So I'd expect this to be standard production queue (with priority points) only I've had a number of starbases that aren't actually building ships AND I've blown a fair amount of stuff up, but I'm still not getting any priority points. Ship limit is not yet reached. (we're at a little over 400.) I've got only 2 points with none earned last turn, which doesn't seem right.

Someone else suggested that this game doesn't have a build queue at all, but I thought that was difficult to do and where would that be in the settings?

@Blackpooldragon,

> I'm still not getting any priority points.

The data is here: http://planets.nu/#/sector/225391/data

The Scoreboard in the game should show similar information, but sorted by planet count.

That data shows that you have 105 Priority Points, gained 10 this turn, and built/captured one warship.

> Ship limit is not yet reached. (we're at a little over 400.)

The above link shows 591 ships. I expect the game will hit the ship limit this next turn.

I believe that you're misreading the information being presented by the system.

Sorry, I posted for the wrong game. My question is about Battle for Washington Sector.

http://planets.nu/#/sector/233743/data

Data reflects what I see in the game. (But I didn't know about the data tab, so thanks for that!)

Settings

•productionqueue: false

The other numbers mean nothing as production queue is false.

Its a standard Queue so no PP's for no building.

You cannot be blowing stuff up as you have no PP's apart for the 2.

Mostly planets, but a few Starbases, so I'd thought to get points from those. Maybe they didn't have any?

So when we get to 500, that's it. No more ships unless something blows up?

In Classic, only destruction of a ship generates Priority Points.

Correct.

In Classic only a ship destroying a ship earns PBPs to be exact.

You used to be able to steal PBPs by destroying Horwasp ships also, not sure if that worked in Classic back then... not sure if this still works in fact, I believe that was changed.

NuQueue adds the idle Starbase PBP gain mechanism (when under Ship Limit) as well as the theft of PBPs when you destroy a Starbase.
