i am remembering the system being called initially something like Production Points (versus old PBPs)? The documentation names the new system ”Production Queue” (just checked) so you are right that is what we really should be using, in fact.

@Mule and @Tom N

in fact, i do not have the slightest idea what are the standards for game becoming public. And if public means earning campaign resources and leader board points, i do not even know that to be honest? last time i checked there has been no 101-documentation for this — or i missed it.

what we do here is i am going to ask Joshua if he is willing to make this game public or not. Big Beefer got DIE HARD series public by negotiating with Joshua. I have not done that in forehand. I will definitely do my best to make this game public nonetheless, when we get a full roster.

Joshua said, when announcing the new system is live and available for private games, that those private games can be made public. so i am trusting this is the case with a privately hosted game with roster full of reputable players and game being hosted by responsible host. that is all i can promise, really.

If the fact that it's private implies that the 8 games'limit does not apply I'd like to signup with the Privs to prove a couple of ideas on the new PP system. A game of mine will be finishing in the next few weeks anyway, but I'd like an early start with the new system in a more or less classic environment.

sorry for the confusing, with private i meant privately hosted game.

the game count is a problem (it has been a problem before in DH which start as private games too), because i am gonna ask Joshua to make this game public one.

the documentation however does not mention public / private games, only mention is a "live game". I jump the gun and assume this means here "public"? And that is why we want a public game, for sure.

on the other campaign resources side, of those i do not find any documentation what so ever...? they are earned in every game, private and public? and only during very first turns? or what?

but anyway Macros, i am happy to have you on board. the game count might just be a problem?

1 this is not a melee game, no giant nor dwarf

2 this is not a DIE HARD -game, we only apply usefull DH core values and rules (*)

3 this is a privately hosted game BUT i try convincing Joshua to make this public--i trust it works out--so that the players would get what ever they are after when they play public games

4 no any other house rules forced here. if game mechanics allow it, it is allowed!

5 we turn PQ on, instead of PBPs. that is the treat in this game, reson to join it!!!11

RE: Public & Points. NO guarantees, but in my experience Joshua will convert a privately hosted game to public (and points) when the host asks and after he checks to see if the game has 8 or more players and is scheduled to last 80+ fixed turns or until Diplo conditions are met. I am sure this game will meet those requirements.

If there are other requirements that slip my mind right now, I am sure someone else will point them out. :)

there are bunch of reasons why email service can judge it as a späm, for example a link coming from a person called "Anaconda" and so on. also try making sure you really are using right email and get other feed in your mail folders from this site.
