Question about Cloak+Intercept mission:
Does anyone know when in the host order the Bird ship will decloak for combat, and then re-cloak?

Why?

It states it uncloaks and attacks then recloaks after combat if its not damaged.

So it is probably after movement and just before combat. Then after that ships first combat it will check for damage.

If no damage it recloaks.

If damaged the combat continues.

Well, if it uncloaked after movement instead of right before combat, then a ship on a cloak-intercept mission would avoid triggering a glory device. I was wondering if this was the case.

@Psydev: I assume Gnerphk tested that... not sure if he had it researched before it became Standard for him to test or if he asked for help testing it.

I'd run a test Sector if I was you though if he doesn't confirm it in time before you need to make a decision (if there is a time constraint).
