Question on Alliance of 3

How does an alliance work with more than 2 players involved?
Given: A and B set "Full Alliance", B and C set "Full Alliance", A and C did NOT set "Full Alliance".

Are A and C in Alliance too by an automatic mechanism? Do they share intel in this case?

If not: How is it shown to the other players? How is the win condition calculated? If those three have enough planets together, does the countdown start? And is B the lonely winner?

I don't understand the whole scenario (except of course if A and C set "Full Alliance" too, but that is not my question).

First part understood, second not yet.

In our games we have max allies = 2, so an alliance of three is possible, I guess?

If A has 70 planets, B 160 and C 80, then
A + B = 230 no win
B + C = 240 no win
A + B + c = 310 > 300 => win?
Will the countdown be activated? Will B gain a single win?

Mind you, I do not ask about clever tactics just about the rules
(A and C must be outright stupid to let that happen, of course they should either form an alliance with each other or break the alliance with B to stop the countdown).

For how it is displayed, we could do a little test in this game, I'm curious...
