Quick question: are the layers placed by the Draw tools on the map later publicly visible using View Time-machine after the game has finished?

I’m considering making notes on the map to discuss with more skilled players afterwards on strategy tips and alternative approaches for specific situations and figure this tool would be easy to highlight the specific area of interest - but not sure if it just shows for me or if others would be able to see my notes.

Yes, they will be visible. Note though that they are saved with the turn, so you can't go back and add/change them in the time machine after the turn has run.

In a related question, how do you make a layer visible to another player during the game? I had someone else do this for me, but have no idea how it's done. I've looked over the interface but just can't find it.

never heard of that before, would be really handy.
Esp. if updates are shared automatically (assuming reload of a game).
