So Ted has chosen his path: Instead of a slow death, he...

So Ted has chosen his path: Instead of a slow death, he goes for... a quick death!

Sure this late in the game no one will come calling for him, so it's a fate comparable to that of a black hole, getting denser and denser until nothing can escape.

Others will slowly take the room he releases with his burned land tactics, but surely no change will come to the balance of power from this? The stronger will just get stronger.

ps. I base this post on the quick drop in planet count for the borg and the activity feed log. Did I get it right?

The stronger will get stronger.
The weak will get weaker.
But the stupid remain stupid :)

And the Borg? They simply wait while celebrating inside the hive that the weak vanish...

Just a reminder, only the first position (per definition) counts in this game. It make no difference if you end this match with 0 or 249 planets! Or does anybody remember the names of the defeated Commander in the past games?

The interesting part is that the coalition was fluid and the game is still going strong:

1800 - France odd man out, Turkey Neutral
1914 - Germany, Austria, Turkey are odd men out
1941 - Germany, Italy Odd men out, Turkey Neutral
1945+ - Russia odd man out

Capricorn could last 1000 turns. Maybe more.
