Standard version request:

I brought this up a few weeks ago, but I'm finding that I think it would be really important to bring it to the Uservoice thing or just as a general suggestion. Of course this is just my opinion, but maybe others feel the same.

The EE is severely lacking in economic advantages, except for fighters that cost no MCs. Although that can also be a disadvantage because you have no control of the mineral drain. (darn those droids, they just keep working!) There have been threads suggesting different economic boosts for the EE; I definitely would love to see something for them.

However, in this case, I want to re-suggest that the Campaign Mig be added to Standard games. In my current Mentor game, I was suggesting ships that are good to double as early game freighters and late game warships. It became very obvious that the EE is the only race that has NONE of these; it has no reasonably-costing warships that can be used as a freighter in the early game and be armed as a warship later on. I feel that's a big economic disadvantage.

On the other hand, maybe I'm just not good enough with them and in the hands of experienced players the EE is powerful enough on its own.

The Imperial Dreadnaught
Tech - 8
Mass - 510kt
Engines - 4
Beams - 6
Torp bays - 4
Cargo - 170
Fuel - 350
Crew - 210

Eschewing common Imperial dogma that the only thing cheaper than a fighter is the pilot inside it; the Dreadnaught is a massive armoured ship that can hold its own in a fight. Droids on board the Dreadnaught build torpedoes out of the minerals they find on board without direction. The MC cost per torpedo is halved. This is a ship specific advantage.

The above I feel would be helpful.
