Hard to say this.. given you started my addition in the 90s.. I kicked the habit for 20+ years... but it was always there.. the attention to a details game that required not money, not reflexes, not super fad technique of the week... it required thinking, planning, patience.. the "texas hold'em" of video games.. You can master the formulas, but failing to master diplomacy always equals death of your race.. To this, your brainchild, I will forever tip my craft brew of the month in your direction! Also, the maiden flight of the "Enterprise" is 50 years ago. One might think that you were born on this ship.

For over 20 years I have a REG version of VGA Planets 3.5 for Windows. It is my oldest computer game and I love and hate it at the same time.

I had been wondering about him. I still have the floppy disk. Not sure where my registration is any more. I'll bet I've got it on some old HD that I don't use any more.

Also, I've been wondering if he gets a portion of the proceeds from this project. Does anyone know?

Now I'm 50. . .

I was just 24, when I wrote the little drawing program in Quick Basic to draw the ship pictures for planets. . . That computer was a 286 with 2 floppy drives and no hard drive, running DR DOS 5.

And now I am in the weird magic business. . .

Now days the only programming I do is for little PicAxe computer chips, that control the weird magic props that I now build. Many of you have seen the things I have built on TV shows. My stuff has showed up on A.G.T., 60 minutes, Japanese game shows, Oddity shows and have built props for many of the biggest names in the magic world. It is all very secret underground hush hush stuff. I am very good at what I do now and having a lot of fun at it.

I was born the same week Star Trek come out on TV. I spent my first few month living in a tent in the forest at Dinky Creek camp ground, while my father worked in the woods as a logger.

Now days to relax I play Planets.Nu and Mech Warrior Online.
