At turn 70, this is a very unusual game.

I joined three beginner's games at about the same time, and in two of them I knew who the final top two would be about turn 20. Here at turn 70, there are only two dead. And no obvious winner(s).

I hope the rest of you are enjoying this as much as I am.

This game has been a real roller coaster and a learning experience.

Absolutely!

This is the first game i joined after 15 years lay off and it turned out to be the best one:) Also picked up lots of valuable experience. Lets keep it going.

This is my first game in about 16 years...never even got to 20 turns because of people dropping out, so this is really my first game, and I'm loving it! Thanks everyone for teaching me my errors in the game. Great job Azazel and Chas...but bring it on :) I'm here to the end ( which might not be that much longer)
And thank you Carsten for the wonderful mine laying abilities and the friendly ally.

And Cubehead, you've come back from almost loosing everything...I'm impressed!

wow..my first since 95 almost 17 years... a great refresher... Tarok you are a formidable opponent! learning lots about web mine and how to effectively deploy them and fight against them... Cubehead looking forward to seeing how your TRs will do in my webs. Fun game!

Looks like we are finally getting an ending to this game. And I think it was one of the best games I've played.

First, I want to thank my ally Cubehead. We actually allied about turn 25 (but kept hidden), and he was a great ally. And now a friend. We did a lot of email for strategy and tactics, and he proved to a very wise man.

This was one alliance where there is no #1 and #2. We really share the win equally.

I'm also complementary of almost all the other players. Carsten is still battling to the end. azazel is still in there, even when his ally dropped out. I play against him in a team game, and he is doing really well there.

The one player I never had contact with is tarrok (fascist). I saw his play via info sharing. I'm impressed. He did a really good job, but didn't have an ally to let him win the game.

Thanks to all the players. This has been tough but entertaining.

I'm also impressed by Tarrok. My former Crystal ally got some ships, several hundred thousand MC and plenty of torps from me but to no avail. Tarrok still came out victorious from that bout.

Congrats to Chas and Cubehead!

Your team is really rocking the team game, Chas. Everyone else is really playing for second place (or survival).

Hey folks

Thank you for sticking it out as long as you have. Too bad evil and crystalk dropped but i suppose its hard to stay motivated in losing circumstances.

Kudos to Jones who used his diplomatic skills to finish the game and give headaches to pretty much everyone lol:)

Tarrok did an amazing job against crystals all by himse. I havent had much contact with anyone else but everyone who is still in deserves credit.

Chas you have been an amazing ally and a great friend. I know out comms have diminished due to your involvments in other games and my real life. We had a very transparrent, dedicated and long lasting partnership which proved to be key in this game.

On a side note this was my first game after 15-16 years and I learned that VGAP is a micromanagers game. If you are willing to spend the time to go through every detail AND read up on the web on strategies YOU WILL WIN!:)

See you all in the next game:) Azazel for sure cause I was fighting him in 3 other ones lol... why cant we get along?!!!....WHYYYYYYY?!
