Hi everyone - I played VGA Planets 2.x when I was a student with my friends. I remember staying up on "game nights" to get my game files through fidonet - and the agony of learning that interception coordinates were calculated wrong or thwarted, ships destroyed in minefields, etc.

I absolutely love the "play by email" character of VGAP - in fact, the realtime character of most modern multiplayer strategy games is what turns me off - it's impossible to play against teams of students or high school kids who can man an account 24/7. Looking forward to play my first game on vgaplanets.nu!
