first turn no orders

Hi all,
I just started game 44772 yesterday. I joined when there were only 6 of the 12 others (it is a 3v3v3v3 game) and made all my turn orders. The host just ran, and I logged on to find my transport empty and sitting at the starbase, and the starbase hadn't built anything and has no tech. It looks as if I had agreed to play and immediately clicked turn ready without doing anything else.

Is this a known problem, or was I supposed to wait for everyone to join before making my turn orders?

EDIT: Upon closer inspection, it appears the purchase of the large transport and 2 transwarp engines did register, but I was not charged for them (still had 10000mc), and the tech levels of my starbase were still 1/7/1/1. However, the starship was not assembled.

I am having the same or similar problem.
Orders were not given, however I have in inventory, one Transwarp engine (somehow without my Tech10 engines tech), and the MDSF hull. Factory building, MSDF #2 building , colonization orders for my MDSF or anything else was not done....

I've had the same issue in game 43890. Things went pretty much the same way Maddox described it.

Same problem with two of my team mates, and judging from the scoreboard, a few others!
