Just saw this addition today.  However I think it needs some tweaking.

For instance currently my stats say that I've played 426 turns and only missed 24.  This gives me a ~95% reliability rating.  However, it would be nice if the counter were broken up into.

#turns played (turns left at "Turn Ready")
#turns incomplete (turns left at "Turn Viewed")
#turns missed (turns left at "Not Ready Yet")

Reason being players have a reason to keep their turns left at turn viewed. (i.e. intentionally slowing down the game/preventing an early host run, leaving it there hoping for an ally to send a message saying what they're doing with a ship, or just unable to finish the turn.)

This would give a better idea of a players reliability.  For instance I think I have not flat out missed any turns.  So my stats would read;

Turns Played: 426
Turns Incomplete: 24
Turns Missed: 0

I think this might give others a better understanding of a players reliability, rather than lumping an all-out missed turn together with finishing a turn and not clicking turn ready, whatever the motivation may be.

I do have a question on what happens with my orders when I don´t mark my turn ready. When host runs with my game status "Turn viewed" are my orders ignored or processed?

All commands you input into the client are processed (provided there is not a problem with the db write scripts, but it's been about 7 months since I had a problem with those).

The turn ready tick box only accomplishes the following things AFAIK. 

1.)  Changes your turn status from "Turn Viewed" to "Turn Ready"

2.)  Allows host to run early if all turns are marked "Turn Ready"

3.) If it is not ticked prior to the scheduled host run it will increase your missed turn counter by 1.

Also:
I was kicked out of games 2 or 3 times because i "missed turns", while actually only left them open because i was waiting for an ally's message / reaction.

That should not happen, unless the turns were not touched, aka not opened at all.

Players that do not press "End Turn" should get a missed turn marker - and if they get enough, they should be kicked out of the game. There is nothing worse than having 10 players done with their turns, and everyone just sits there waiting for that same player, that misses almost every turn (but never 3 in a row... damn!).

Agree.  But this is about differentiating in the player statistics that are now on each players page how many turns are completely missed and how many are left at "turn viewed".

Sorry about the post as Eraulli... He is an ally of mine in a team game and I was playing his turns for the holidays.
