Let's hope Joshua tells us this is it, or else we have to work on the next turn soon ;)
I am going to write a bit of a chronicle of this game from my perspective, so this elaborate answer is just a "preview" of what I want to write and, at the same time, answer your question.
No, Spuk and I had not exchanged detailed info on to attack you, not at that stage. I wish the history functionality was active then, because I could have really done so later on...
I would say that I have an advanced alliance with Kedalion, we exchange easy 5 messages per turn and coordinate our attacks. We missed some functionality to this efficiently like: what's on the planets we scouted with the cloakers we comendeered/cloned/traded, which ships are out of fuel and which ships hit his fishing nets or hit my mines, what enemy ships are orbiting our planets planets. What I found with my "cerveza" probes, which planets I obliterated and what I found on them. etc.
With Spuk it was more highlevel, more fitting to the alliance functionality. Less detailed. Like I said, and it was later in the game that we got into alliance mode.
At early stage (turn 10?) I had agreed a border with him and he was sticking to it honourably and I was in alliance mode with you to share info (like turn 20 or so?), then Spuk started to make a move on you and you decided not to trust me. You broke it off, not even an explanation, that was insulting and I black listed you. You expected me to have control over the fascist, when I all I had was a border. If you didn't trust me, how could I trust you?
So it was time to judge who I would ally with, who to trust based on actions and not words, to take sides. The backstabbing paranoid and slippery romulan or the honorable (yet independent and aggressive) Klingon. The outcome you know.
When I take sides, I do it all the way, I provided access to Spuk to the planets we (borg-bird) could have used for trading to resupply his attacking fleet and go deeper in your area and I gambled by trading a Firecloud for a D7 with Mk7s and that paid off beautifully... (more on that later). But it cemented our trust and allowing me to the same with Kedalion, who got two cloned D7s with MK7s as xmas presents as a token of my commitment to our alliance.
If you hadn't been so rush, slippery and disloyal, it could have been the fascist on the receiving end of my cubes. The bird with fireclouds and me with a Resollute. Funny enough we ended having a few Resolltes anyway, as we Imperial Assulted your bases ;)
