Transferring fuel to an allied ship

I think this was stated on the forum before but I can't seem to find it.

I'm playing Birdmen and have several cloaked ships flying in an allied fleet, however every time my ally tries to transfer fuel to my ships it doesn't work.

I'm thinking it's because fuel transfers can't be done to a ship with it's mission set to Cloak. Is that the case?

Also do friendly codes need to be matched on ships transferring fuel even if they are allied?

Friendly codes don't matter. But, you cannot transfer to an ally (or enemy) if they are cloaked.

"Issue 2) It is only possible to transfer to one allied or enemy ship from one ship on one turn. So your MBR can only transfer to one of the Patriots. So whichever one you setup second should have worked. You should see a little warning on the transfer screen if you try to change your transfer to another ship.
Issue 3) Your ally can NOT transfer to you if you are cloaked or cloaking this turn.
Sorry, those are a lot of little tricky detail rules that are not necessarily clear. We're trying to put some more messages in so that its clear why some things fail. The original game didn't have them, so we didn't introduce them yet, but I think it will just make things a lot more clear.

Ah me too.

I think this should be allowed though. Transferring to allied if they are cloaked I mean.
