Utility Script: Check material to build starbaseWrite Reply
This checks all your planets to see if you can build a starbase.  It also estimates what you can build in the next few turns and colors the output from yellow (2 turns) to red (now).

Nice! It works fine! But you can't erase the circles after you search for the starbases.

hit "clear (x)".  I didn't want them going away when a planet or ship screen popped up.

I see what you mean.  Something has grabbed the 'x' hotkey.  I'll try to figure out which addon did that.  The menu item still works.  I'm using Chrome too.

In my case the menu item doesn't work either. I can activate the search starbase option just fine, but the clear button in the menu doesn't clear it either. It works fine for the other uses, it clear ship selections, etc... It just doesn't work for your add on.

OK, I removed the part that made it semi-permanent and I tested it with only this script installed.

v1.0 - added semi-permanence to display, clear with 'clear (x)'

The 'clear' menu item and the 'x' hotkey call different functions in the planets.nu code.

OK, I am a dummy.

My 'Map Tools' does not show up when I have the script enabled but is back when I have it disabled.

What am I doing wrong?

thanks

I have been using this script for some time off and on. At some point my maptools pulldown disappeared and I never really paid much attention as I was only in a single game and it was wrapping up. As I am active again I started digging into this and have discovered that when this script is active in greasemonkey with Mozilla it will cause my maptools on the starmap to not be present.

Anyone having the same problem or a solution perhaps?
