Thanks! This works great in Chrome/Tampermonkey. It only takes a second to advance through time using the i/o keys. One can start on turn 1 and watch our empire/alliance grow. The alliance feature is great in a team game.
My computer makes a squish sound, like a heartbeat, when I use the i/o keys. If I start at the beginning of a game and go to the end at 1 second per turn, it seems like my empire has a beating heart (freeeeeeeeaky!)
1. Question - Is there a way to get 30% zoom? At 20%, the whole map fits on my screen, but at 40% it doesn't. (Joshua, could we get a 30% hot key?)
2. Idea - What if the info (planet ownership) was put in a file? (Turn 1, Planet 1, owner 0-30, Planet 2, Owner 0-30 . . . . . Turn 2, Planet 1, Owner 0-30, etc.) Then, we could quickly go through everyone's turn in a completed game and build up this file.
3. Then, there could be another button (Territory Map, Alliance Map, History Map). When this button was on, the data from the file would be gotten and we could see all races grow together.
We could actually pass these files around.
Also we could do a running commentary on the game and put it on youtube.
Regardless, thanks for the work. |
