He also gives some small tips like flying higher than your engines permit and the balance between selling supplies and keeping them depending on how many resources you find.
Notice how the large number of small, secondary freighters built at the early 2nd starbase start to make it possible to utilize all the resources that are being produced at every planet.
On turn 12 he only has 3 megacredits left at his carrier factory. Every penny counts!
