KIN - A new currency for Planets

Planets Nu has partnered with the Kin Foundation to bring the Kin digital currency onto our platform. Kin - (http://kin.org) is a new form of digital currency which is designed for rewarding users. It can be earned and spent in many different applications, making it a truely valuable asset, even outside of Planets. 

Kin is backed by blockchain technology which means that you own your Kin. Your Planets Nu account acts as your wallet and your earns and spends will be tracked on the Kin blockchain. Kin has real, tangable value that can be measured. (current exchange rates: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/kin/) 

As of today, all Megacredit rewards will be paid out in Kin. This means, that for every turn you play, every planet you capture, every level you complete, every badge you earn and every game you finish you'll be getting paid in Kin. You will finally get paid for all that hard work! 

You can choose to use the Kin as you see fit. Inside of Planets Nu, Kin can be converted to Megacredits to buy upgrades in the campaign system. In the future we'll be running other experiments on ways to spend and share Kin.

During our initial release it will not be possible to withdraw your Kin or to deposit Kin from the outside, however we expect to add those features in the near future.

You will be able to see your Kin balance on your home screens and can convert your Kin to Megacredits by click on the Kin icon.
