Updates and Rule Changes - December

We have released a significant set of rule changes and updates:

UI Improvements:

Shield/damage/ammo averages added to battle sim. 
Minehit probability added to warning system. 
Improved cloning UI.
Small improvements to "Total Resources" UI for birdman superspy/EE dark sense.  
Supplies now factor into max population display on planets. 
Tech cost detail on build ship screen.

Campaign Changes:

Diplomatic Spies - Advantage value set to 5.
Plunder Planet - Advantage value set to 30.
Dense Minefields - Advantage Value Set to 10.  

Starbase Money Transfer - Advantage Value Set to 40. 
Starbase Fighter Sweeping - Advantage Value Set to 25.  
Starbase Mine Sweeping - Advantage Value Set to 15. 

Quantum Torpedos: Cost and power reduced from initial release. Can now lay and scoop mines like all other torps - 121 units per torp. 

Horwasp:
Burrowing increases mining - A 100% burrow will double mining rate. Effective in all future games. (BurrowsImproveMining setting)   

Hull changes:

Enlighten Class Research Vessel - Advantage value set to 15.  
Dungeon Class Stargate - Advantage Value Set to 10.  
Saber Shield Generator - Advantage Value Set to 50.   
Reptile Class Escort - Add second engine, reduce mass to 50kt.
Bloodfang - New sub-ship for Privateers with 5 bays and stealth armor - 10 Advantage. 
D19c Nef - Mass reduced to 46.
Moscow Class Star Destroyer - 5 bays - lower costs
Cybernaut B - 70 cargo - advantage value reduced to 10.  

New Setting (on for campaign and bleeding edge for now):
"dmp" friendly code dumps torpedos too. (resources are recovered but not MC) 

Standard Ruleset Changes:

Federation now have Quantum Torpedos 
Evil Empire now have Galactic Power - EE Gorbie always fights from the left 

A note on left side/right side advantage for those who are newer: Since the right side always goes to the "attacker" in Planets we consider the left side advantage to be the ability for the "defender" to pick their own ground. 

The Gorbie, due to its intrinsic threat level is now always the "defender" even when attacking because true defenders can not allow it to move into position. 

The "defender" side has significant advantages in fighter to fighter combat, but being the "attacker" (right side) can be advantageous for torpedo races vs fighter ships. 

Ships with the lowest battle value are usually the "attacker".
