I messed around with vgaplanets with my brother and dreamed in the (mid) 90s. We just tried a few turns hot seat, never really tried the game. I looked at it once or twice, but the UI was too unfriendly, and then my friend (zelrik) told me about Nu. Since than I have played a few games, not really good, although I have been on the winning side in about 33%.

First real game. Played as EE. Was slow to expand, made an alliance to the north (Tom Graves, and then homey). Tried to work against Borg and Priv, but Priv ended up being a real threat and Borg not. Was slow to take advantage of Colonies leaving (probably due to Priv?) and to ally with the others against the Bird/Priv/XStal juggernaut (was mostly focused on Fed+Borg). Still don't know how to handle Bird+Priv+XStal (and I mostly didn't even face the Priv). Came
