I used to play VGAP twenty years ago as a PBeM. During my first (shareware) game the quality of my internet connection was so bad that I had better baud rate taking the diskette with data file by car to our friend who was hosting the game :)

Then for many years I have been looking for such a good game only on-line. And finally I found it. Here. I'm missing some of the functionality of the VPA client, but with the help of userscripts we can do it!
