The Taurus War

The Scorpius War has been ravaging on for over 7 Nu Years, and after 62 turns of the sector 3 races have been annihilated and a few races have moved to the forefront. Rear-Admiral Thin Lizzy has captured over 115 planets and is threatening to stamp out his enemies and lay claim to the Echo Cluster, but Commodores, Halion and SpaceSquad are in strong position to stop him. This war is far from over... 

Meanwhile, in a nearby sector, the battle for power has spread and a new war is beginning which will eventually crown a new Emperor. The 11 races, have once again named an elite military commander to lead their forces to win total control and power on behalf of their race and individually to succeed the winner of the Scorpius War and claim the ultimate seat of power and ascend to the throne as the Almighty Commander of the 11 races, his Excellency, The Emperor of the Echo Cluster.  So begins, the Taurus War.

The following champions have been named by each race to represent them in the Taurus War: 

The Solar Federation name: Captain Fruchtquake

238 planets as the solar federation was quite an achievement for Captain Fruchtquake. 360 planets in a minimal amount of time is very respectable for this young but ambitious Fed Officer. Captain Fruchtquake also destroyed 35070 kTons of ships.

The Lizard Alliance name: Read-Admiral Dragondejhi

Good economic and logistic skills makes Dragondejhi a fearful Lizard Officer. Read-Admiral Dragondejhi has conquered 488 Planets so far with a powerful destruction score of 70517 kTons.

The Empire of the Birds name: Commodore JKovalainen

Finishing a battle with over 50% of the total military and 242 planets is quite a feat for Commodore jkovalainen. This promising officer conquered 542 planets and sunk 90859 kTons.

The Fascist Empire name: Commodore emork the lizard king

Conquered Memphis System by taking half the map for himself, one would wonder if he really needed an ally. 549 planets taken in only 3 campaigns and a respectable 57503 kTons sunk makes emork the lizard king a powerful fascist leader and a dangerous threat for his opponent.

The Privateer Bands name: Admiral othrym

Very expercienced Privateer officer, no one would want to encounter his MBRs. Won a battle by conquering 323 planets and 53% of the military, Admiral othrym has taken a total of 1076 planets and has a destruction score of 75982 kTons.

The Cyborg name: Admiral dungeonmaster

If there is a Borg Officer to fear, it is Admiral dungeonmaster. His victories are overwhelming: 832 planets assimmilated, 132066 kTons sunk.

The Crystal Confederation name: Commodore bondservant

Experimented Crystal leader, Commodore bondservant was involved in many campaigns, destroying a very strong 52385 kTons and taking 625 planets in total through careful use of webmines and diplomacy. 

The Evil Empire name: Captain Sants

Conspiring Evil Empire Officer, Captain Sants has won 4 sectors by careful use of his economic and diplomatic skills. Sants has conquered 304 planets and sunk 26115 kTons.

The Robotic Imperium name: Commodore skiv

The Robots have very strong warships and Commodore skiv knows how to use them, 161237 kTons destroyed and 447 planets conquered.

The Rebel Confederation name: Commodore Julius

Experienced Rebel officer, Commodore Julius has gained his status by successfully getting involved in many battles. 95731 kTons destroyed and 676 planets conqueered.

The Missing Colonies of Man name: Commodore veldan

Leader of the Missing Colonies of man with only 3 campaigns, Commodore veldan built a powerful military, taken for himself 305 planets and destroyed 50320 kTons.

Winning even one victory in a full 11 race epic conquest battle in the Echo Cluster is an incredible feat. Most of these commanders have repeated that accomplishment many times and all of them have consistently risen to the top in their battles. Now they must face the ultimate challenge. To beat the best of the best. Which one of these commanders will win ultimate glory for their race and for themselves? Which one will become Emperor of the Echo Cluster? Only the coming Nu Years will decide.  

Representing your race and its future place in history is not without risk. All 10 losing commanders will be stripped of their rank and all their achievements and will have to start again as lowly midshipmen for their race. The winner will be elevated to the title Emperor and will be remembered for all time as a hero among their people.
