Libra War Ends: Hiko Claims the Emperor's Throne!

After 151 turns the Libra War Championship Match has ended. With his reptilian strength and guile, Hiko of the Lizard Alliance has claimed the title of Emperor of the Echo Cluster. 

On this day, on the 106th year of the Nu calendar, the Imperial Senate of the Echo Cluster, and the honorably retiring Emperor Wmerkel recognize Hiko as the Almighty Commander of the 11 races, 10th in the line of unified leaders, hereafter to be known as the Emperor of the Echo Cluster!


All Hail Emperor Hiko!

Building a powerful economy, Hiko poured resources into shipbuilding and took an early lead in fleet size, which he would increasingly dominate the entire game. Using his diplomatic skills, he partnered with the Empire early on, gaining information on positions across the map, and later adding Gorbies to his arsenal. In addition, he was able to work out deals to acquire both Firecloud and web mine technology. From there, an aggressive disposition with hardly any lull in combat, along with some shifts in relations, led Hiko to a solid victory.

Year 0106 will officially be known as the 1st Year of the Reign of Hiko.
